In preparation for jungle operations, Royal Thai Marine instructors spent the day training more than 40 Marines and sailors with MEU Service Support Group 31 and G Co., techniques to survive in jungle terrain. The U.S. and Royal Thai Marines will continue to strengthen their interoperability by conducting numbers training events throughout Cobra Gold. (Cleared For Release)

PATTAYA, Thailand – Lance Cpl. Javier Ayala, an administration clerk with Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 31, and a Watsonville, Calif., native, plows in the garden of the Pattaya Orphanage May 17 during Exercise Cobra Gold 2006. Approximately 30 Marines and sailors with the MSSG provided needed repairs to the orphanage and spent quality time with the children during the community relations project. The MSSG is the combat service support element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable). (Cleared For Release)
